Soloist Michalis Kodaxakis and his worthy student, upcoming young guitar soloist, Konstantinos Avlonitis will offer us a program that bridges Spanish and Greek classical guitar music.
Works by Spanish composers from different aparts of Spain - Catalonia, Valencia, Burgos – in a variety of styles, but all quite demanding to perform, followed by Greek compositions by Manos Hatzidakis transcribed by Kodaxakis and by Kostas Grigoreas and dedicated to the soloist Michalis Kodaxakis.
